Last Sunday, I was received as a member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Bowie (RPCBowie.org), and therefore the Presbyterian Church in America (PCAnet.org), the denomination of which RPCB is a part of.
RPCB is committed to the “Bible, God’s word, [as] the foundational authority in the church,” to the gospel of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone, to Reformed theology as set forth in the Westminster Standards, and to elders-led church government.
The PCA is committed to being “faithful to the Scriptures, true to the Reformed faith and obedient to the Great Commission.” It consists of over 1,500 congregations with more than 300,000 members.
